The majority of older students in the village attend Ivybridge Community College although some travel a little further to Plymouth, where a wide choice of schools is available, including Plymouth College and Plymouth High School for Girls. For preschoolers, there is also Venture Kitley Farm, an outstanding outdoor educational facility – one of their favourite sessions is the Friday beach school at Mothecombe!

Transport

The main route from Plymouth to Exeter (A38/M5 Devon Expressway) is only a few miles away, and you will find the village bus service conveniently runs to Plymouth city centre making this an easy commuting distance. Intercity trains run regularly from Plymouth to Paddington, and the Continental Ferry port in Plymouth is also easily accessible.
