ted President of this year’s Kingsbridge Show.

Taking place on Saturday 5 September 2026, the Kingsbridge Show is one of the largest one-day agricultural shows in the South West, and a highlight of the rural calendar for both locals and visitors alike.
Stuart has always been passionate about supporting the farming industry and rural communities across the region, making this appointment a fitting recognition of his longstanding involvement and commitment. Speaking about the role, Stuart said:
“I am truly humbled and honoured to have been asked to take on the role of President of the Kingsbridge Agricultural and Horticultural Show this year.Having lived and worked in this wonderful area for most of my life, the Show has been a firm calendar event each year. It represents the very best of our community, bringing together local farmers, growers, businesses, and families to celebrate the heritage, hard work, and spirit that make this part of South Devon so unique.
Through our business, Luscombe Maye, we have proudly supported the Show for many years with a trade stand and sponsorship. I have seen first-hand the dedication and effort that goes into organising such an important local event, and the value it brings to the community year after year.
To now be asked to serve as President is a real privilege. I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give something back to an event, and a community, that has given so much to me over the years.

What to Expect at Kingsbridge Show 2026
This year’s show promises a full and exciting programme of entertainment, competition, and rural tradition for all ages.
The feature attraction for 2026 will be the spectacular Knights of Albion Jousting Display, transporting visitors back to medieval times with thrilling live jousting entertainment.
Alongside this headline act, the Main Ring timetable will include:
- Ridden Hacks & Hunters classes
- Parade of Vintage Tractors from the South Hams Vintage Club
- Terrier Racing at midday
- Grand Parade of Livestock and Horses
- Pony Club Games
- A second Vintage Tractor Parade to close the Main Ring programme

About the Show
Kingsbridge Show is held on the first Saturday in September and offers a fantastic family-friendly day out in the heart of the South Hams.
Set in a stunning location with views across the rolling Devon countryside towards the sea, the Show is one of the largest one-day agricultural events in the South West, attracting visitors from across the region.
The event maintains strong links with Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe, and features over 100 trade stands, a popular craft marquee, and a wide selection of food and drink outlets showcasing local produce.
Visitors can enjoy a full programme of entertainment including live music, a family dog show, terrier racing, classic cars, and vintage tractor displays.
A highlight of the day is the Main Ring entertainment, headlined in 2026 by the spectacular Knights of Albion Jousting Display.
From livestock and equine competitions to horticulture, homecraft, Young Farmers classes, and children’s activities, the Show celebrates the very best of rural life and community spirit.
