Pippa Glanville – Rural Planning Surveyor, Totnes
The Directors are also pleased to welcome Pippa Glanville to Luscombe Maye’s Rural Planning Team. Pippa joins the business as a qualified Rural Chartered Surveyor and works primarily alongside Amanda Burden, providing specialist advice on agricultural, equestrian and rural planning matters.
Reflecting on joining Luscombe Maye, Pippa said:
"I am delighted to have joined Luscombe Maye and to be working alongside such an experienced and knowledgeable team. Having grown up in South Devon, it is fantastic to be back in the area and helping clients navigate the opportunities and challenges facing rural businesses and landowners."
Pippa brings a wealth of experience in rural surveying and land management. Raised on her family’s dairy farm in Mothecombe, South Devon, she developed a strong understanding of rural life and agriculture from an early age.
After graduating from The Royal Agricultural University in 2018 with a degree in Rural Land Management, Pippa began her professional career in Wiltshire, gaining experience across a broad range of rural surveying disciplines. In 2022, she became a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV).
Returning to South Devon in 2024, Pippa later spent 19 months travelling and working across Australia and New Zealand, including time on farms and a cattle station. These experiences further strengthened her practical agricultural knowledge and understanding of rural businesses.
At Luscombe Maye, Pippa specialises in agricultural, equestrian and rural planning advice and applications. She also has experience in a variety of land agency work, including grant schemes, sales and valuations, and works closely with the South Brent office on these matters.
Outside of work, Pippa enjoys horse racing and competed as an amateur point-to-point jockey for many years, achieving nine career wins. One of her proudest achievements was riding over the Grand National fences in the Foxhunters’ Chase at Aintree.
When not working, she enjoys spending time on the family dairy farm, swimming in the sea, paddle boarding and participating in country sports. Pippa is also an enthusiastic supporter of Exeter Chiefs and enjoys attending matches at Sandy Park with her family whenever possible.
We are delighted to welcome Pippa to the Rural Planning Team and look forward to supporting her continued success with Luscombe Maye.
