As another busy year in rural planning comes to a close, we are pleased to share a summary of the work our team has undertaken and the successes achieved for our clients.

Planning Applications:

Over the past year, our team managed 200 planning applications, with the following outcomes:

  • 165 approved (82.5%)
  • 26 refused
  • 9 withdrawn

The approved applications covered a wide range of developments, including:

  • 58 agricultural buildings (including slurry and manure stores)
  • 4 sets of tracks
  • 14 Class Q applications
  • 11 agricultural workers’ dwellings (temporary or permanent)
  • 27 dwellings (replacement dwellings following Class Q, CLU applications, or change of use from holiday to residential)
  • 34 discharge of condition applications
  • 27 business units (including Class R) 
  • 5 equestrian developments (stables/liveries)
